Ben Affleck likes it to stay home with his family and just take everything slow, it seems.

??oWe’re very happy. Things couldn’t be better. We’re kind of taking it easy and just kind of enjoying a little downtime at home.”

Earlier this week it wasn’t so harmonized in Family Affleck. Signs of splitting where in the air, and this huge cloud was coming closer and closer. But then, it obviously cooled off again. And Ben decided to take it slow.

??oI’m at a point now where even… vacation sort of feels a little bit like work,??? Affleck told Bush. ??oI’d rather just kind of chill and take it easy.???

Ben has been busy. He traveled through the Congo filming as a guest correspondent for Nightline about the war torn country. And something that important can have a really strong effect on you.

??oIt’s definitely changed me,??? Affleck said of the experience. ??oIt’s definitely been a part of… I guess a growing sense that I have a responsibility to do something with my life that’s other than just serving mileage in some way… You have a responsibility to your kid and also a responsibility to the world around you, so all that [is] part of the motivation for doing all this stuff.???

How nice. It seems like Ben Affleck still knows what’s best for him, his family. Or was it the freedom after all? We’ll keep you updated.

You won’t belive this, Kev Federline just got named the father of the year by Last Vegas club Prive. He was very surprised when it heart about this prize. To celebrate, he had a quiet night at the club, chiling with friends and pumping his fist into the air when Timbaland’s “They Way I are” was played by the DJ.

Prive presented Federline his Father of the Year trophy “someplace quiet” at the dad-of-four’s request, so clubgoers didn’t see the ceremony, according to a source.
